By: Phil Peacock
Series: The Six Gs of The Gospel
Genesis 3:1-13
The Tempter’s Deception of Eve:
- The Lie of Inaccuracy—Planting doubt about what God has said.
- The Lie of Unaccountability—You can disobey without consequences.
- The Lie of Independence—You don’t need God.
- Messes up our relationship with God.
- Messes up our relationship with others.
- Messes up our own health and wholeness, leaving us unfit for heaven.
- It is a question that begs for honesty.
- It is a question that begs for self-examination.
- It is a question that begs us to get found by a God who seeks the lost.

He was given a glimpse of the throne room of heaven. Through the heavenly vision, Isaiah was given a clearer understanding of the Lord God Almighty. (6:1-4) Isaiah also gained a clearer understanding of himself. (6:5-7) Finally, through the work of God in his life, Isaiah was able to present himself to God for service. (6:8)

Oct 3, 2021Why Building on the Wrong Foundation is UselessBy: Phil PeacockSeries: Useless Acts of Christian Life“Why Building on the Wrong Foundation Is Useless” Matthew 7:24-27 Jesus wrapped up his Sermon on the Mount with a little illustration about The Wise and Foolish Builders. The story is really not about architecture or house construction, but rather about the foundation of people’s lives.
- “Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like the wise man who built his house on the rock.”
- But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like the foolish man who built his house on sand.”

Psalm 24 - A psalm of David.
1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; 2 for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.
3 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? 4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.
5 They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.
7 Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.9 Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10 Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty— he is the King of glory. - Aug 15, 2021Wasting Divine Gifts on Trivial Pursuits
