- Come you who are thirsty, hungry, weary, and sinful.
- Follow me. Learn from me. Abide with me. Ask of me. Serve me. Worship me.
Lessons from the Parable of the Great Banquet (Luke 14:16-24)- The invitation of God is for everyone.
- The invitation is equally extended.
- The invitation must be absolutely accepted.
- The invitation should be ungently accepted.

Mar 14, 2021A God Who GivesBy: Phil PeacockSeries: Portrait of God“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NIV) Our Heavenly Father is A God Who Gives. James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” God’s greatest gift takes care of our greatest need. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.” The gift of God’s Son is unlike any other gift. The most personal gift ever given. The most necessary gift ever given. The most costly gift ever given. Cannot be matched, cannot be earned, cannot be repaid.Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”Though the gift of God is one we cannot repay, we should respond!

There is a God. “For God…” 2. He is a God of love. “...so loved…” 3. His love extends to the whole world. “...the world…”
