John’s Question & Commitment

Matthew 11:1-6 & 14:1-12
In the course of his short ministry, John was imprisoned by King Herod Antipas for rebuking the king’s immorality. Two things happened while John was in prison that can teach us lessons about Christian growth and faithfulness.
¨ Through his disciples, John the Baptist expressed his doubts by sending a question directly to Jesus: “Are you the One?”
- There is no better way to deal with doubts than bringing them to Jesus.
- Are we willing to die for the One who died for us?
