Children's Ministry.
A Place Where Kids Grow in Faith and Joy
At Broadus Church, children are a treasured part of our church family. We believe that nurturing faith begins early, and we’re committed to helping children—and their families—grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
From infants to fifth graders, we provide safe, loving, and engaging programs that build a strong foundation of faith, character, and community. Our goal is to help children know God’s love while keeping family life balanced and joyful.
Children in Worship
We welcome the presence of children in our worship services!
Kids are encouraged to take part by:
- Singing and clapping during praise
- Praying and giving offerings
- Listening and learning from the sermon
To help them follow along, Children’s Worship Bulletins are available each Sunday at the Worship Center entrance.
Children’s Message
Each Sunday during worship, children are invited to the front of the Worship Center for a short, engaging Children’s Message. These kid-sized lessons use stories, props, or demonstrations to make Bible truths come alive.
(Fun fact: the grown-ups usually enjoy these messages just as much!)
Nursery Care
Our Nursery Ministry provides loving care for children ages birth through five during all worship services.
Parents can feel confident knowing that:
- All volunteers are screened and trained
- Secure check-in procedures are in place
- Windows are installed on all classroom doors for visibility
We take every precaution to ensure a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for our youngest members.
Sunday School
Pole Green Campus: 9:00 a.m.
Hebron Campus: 10:30 a.m.
We offer Sunday School classes for infants through fifth grade, led by teachers who have a genuine heart for children.
Through Bible stories, songs, crafts, and hands-on activities, kids learn about:
- God’s love and promises
- Their special place in His kingdom
- How to live out faith every day
Every lesson encourages participation, creativity, and spiritual growth.
Wednesday Evening Music & Missions
6:00 – 7:15 p.m. (September – May, at the Pole Green Campus)
Each Wednesday night, children ages 3 through 5th grade gather for a fun and faith-filled time of:
- Singing and worship
- Bible stories and learning
- Hands-on mission projects
- Games and fellowship

Special Activities
Throughout the year, Broadus Church offers a variety of family-friendly events that make learning about Jesus fun and memorable.
These include:
- FUN! Fridays — exciting themed evenings for kids
- Vacation Bible School (VBS) — a summer favorite
- Fall Festival and Spring Fling, community celebrations
- Christian Summer Camp opportunities for children and youth
Each event helps children connect with God, build friendships, and experience the joy of being part of the church family.
Kids Outdoor Zone
Kids Outdoor Zone (KOZ) is every third Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Boys ages 8-18 can experience outdoor adventure and mentoring through faith, outdoor skills, and godly character-building.
